Here is a tramping who carry you along another goldfields route that you can enjoy by the West Coast. Located between Blackball, a quirky place who didn't change at all for the last 60 years at least, and Barrytown, which is located by the beach! On both end of tramping are pubs!
The Ces Clarke Hut is a really nice one who provide a very good viewpoint...even when you are lost through the clouds! Apparently that you have a very nice view of Southern Alps at this point...Anyway! This hike was a very interesting one because you tramp through all kinds of environment: sea landscape, sub-tropical forest and sub alpine too! In less than 18km! Cool!
